to forming a LuCkiOw'abdtilitrict Drop -In
Centre. Attending were Rev. Merelyn
Letson, Rev. Warren McDougall, Bill
Rogues, Stuart Collyer, Tillie Wilson, Pat
Beese and Clara Crowston, An organiza-
tional meeting wilr be held on Monday,
November 5, 2 p.m. in the basement of the
town hall. All interested persons are
welcome to attend.

guest minister for the occasion. The Synod
by Geraldine Schlosser of Hamilton and London met at Knox the
next two days and they remained while Bill
attended the Synod meetiogs. Bill and
Peggy also attended the 125th anniversary
of the Presbyterian Church in Teeswater
this past Sunday.
Congratulations to Vicki Young who was
married .at Kinloss on Saturday, October
27. Vicki and her mother are the
• proprietors of DeeVees Ladies Wear.
The. Sentinel received a phone call this
past week from Rev. H. L. Jennings, who
• from 1952„ - 1960 was the minister of the
, Anglican Churches in Lucknow, Port
• Albert, Ripley and Dungannon. Rev. and
'Mrs. Jennings have •been living in
Wroxeter for the. past 12, years where he
occasionally takes . special service and
• srvices for ministers on holidays. He. is
Assistant Chaplain of the local legion and
of the Oddfellows in Wingham. Rev. and
Mrs,, Jennings extend greetings to, all
, former pa.rishoners and would be glad to.

• Last Tuesday evening Nellie Pentland
and Olive Chisholm surprised Bill Wiggins
and Loreen Woodock of Lucknow.with gifts
from former MVOs' and neighbours of
• Dungannon. The gifts included a brass
table lamp, a blanket from Bainton's Old
„ Mill and bath room scales. Bill and Loreen
moved to Lucknow in June to the former
Mrs. McKay home on the corner of Victoria
and Hamilton Streets, after selling his farm
in the Dungannon area. to Jack Alton and
