Gillian meets
the Queen
• Murray Elston, Huron -Bruce MPP
and his wife, Trudy are the proud new
parents of a baby daughter, Gillian. The
couple received congratulations on
behalf of the riding Liberal Association " •
at its nomination meeting in Lucknow
October 4, when they were presented
with a gift for the new baby and a
bouquet of red carnations for the new
mother. , ' •
Gillian has •had a very auspicious
beginning to her new life. At four days
old she met Queen Elizabeth when she
accompanied her parents to a dinner for
the Queen in'Toronto last week. At five
days old she was. blessed by Cardinal
Carter of Toronto and at six days old she
•attended her first Liberal function, her
dad's nomination meeting in LUcknow.
Gillian's mother says she hopes her
•daughter doesn't expect her to keep up .
the pace she set in her first week of, her
life. •
