On Sunday, Mr . and . Mrs.. Gordon Robb
visited': in -Midland 'with relatives.•' On. their.

call. We all felt relieved when we heard the
weather update .on Thursday.

their regular August meeting at. the Com-
munity Centre • with', .president Ian Clarke
presiding. • . .
Col. ` Cletus Dalton; auctioneer, was
•present. He auctioned off a cane to the
;highest bidder, Anat. R. Miller: •
• It was decided to hold a pastry auction at
the Fall Fair on Saturday, September 15 at 4
p.m. All proceeds will go to the Lucknow 4g
ricultural Society.
A favourable 'report was given by the

Was the largest crowd in the past few years.
All proceeds went to buy newtables for the
Comnunity Centre:. Ten new .tables were
placed there after the Craft Festival.
