sister-in-law and husband; Mr. and Mrs.
Hornett froth Alix,Alberta Call on Monday
last week. and stay until' the next morning,.

o ago Mobile Home. Alix.is about half;way
etween.Edmonton in; the no.^th and Gaigary
in the south and a short way east of the main
north south road between these two .ities.
The above three ladies are all, sisters in-law.
With Mrs. Carel .Johnson.of Highway 9 on
vacation last week and this week taking. her
place as nurse, at the Ripley Medical Clinic
on Tait. Street is Mrs. Marilyn Johnston of
Ripley Street in'Ripiey.
Mrs. Frances Elliott of Ripley is spending
a few weeks: at the cottage of her grandson
Elliott Courtney at. Lurgan Beach..( Victoria
Street •in the north. end of Point.C•lark)..,She
has been there for the past three 'week's and
expects to be there for two. ,more. .Mrs.
Evelyn Johnsain of Ripley visited her lust
Thursday.

Charlie "Baker of`'Belmont is on his yearly
visit to Ripley to renew . acquaintance- with
friends here. On these' visits he "stays with
John C. and Mary. MacDonald. Also he spent
a couple of days. with Wilfred. and Virginia
Hackett in. the Lucknow area. '

for a few days from his busy work.

for this summer. The last Friday and Satur-

Malcolm Street in Ripley the.past weekend.
At present Dave Murray Ripley is a pa-
tient in Kincardine and District Hospital..
Earlier in the month he hadbeenthere°..f or
ten days. Then he was back home for the
weekend'. of July .8. tar+ly last Wednesday
morning, his wife Grace took himback.- for
re-adiriission.

his 98th year. His parents were Samuel Mae -
Murphy Sr. and Margaret Cameron.

day, December 22, 1886 in Huron Township
presumably at the home place, Lot 28, Con-
cession 5 just a short distance east of S.S.
No. 5 school which he attended as, a' boy-. He
is. -'"survived by his three ;daughters,
Margaret, Mrs. Wm. Ferguson of Lucknow;
Norma, Mrs. Cecil. Humphrey of Point Clark
andAudrey;'Mrs. Lester Ferguson of the 6th
Con. west in Huron Township and 14 grand-'
chiidrerr...He waspredeceasedby his wife
Helen Farrell, his two sisters, Margaret,
Mrs. Bill Jackson and .Elizabeth ( Aunt Liz-
zie) Mrs. Peter • MacDonald, and , his two

The funeral service'was held at 3 p.m. last
Friday,.July,13 'at the MacKenzie McCreath
Funeral. Horne in Lucknow' with Rev. War-
ren McDougall of Lucknow United Church
officiating. Interment followed in .the family
plot in the Ripley Cemetery. Donations were
received at the funeral home in aid of the
Kincardine and District for. the Mentally.
