Mrs. Tom McDonald hosted ladies at her home during the week at it quilting. Mr. and Mrs. John Scott of Ripley visited on Wednesday with Edna and May Boyle. Pastor and Mrs.. M. Christensen were dinner guests with Manana Hodgins and Phoebe Stanley at Lucknow on Friday evening. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Alex Percy on their 48th wedding anniversary. On Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Don Bushell visited Mr. and Mrs. Herman "Fischer of Benmiller. A ,40th wedding anniversary dinner was held on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Thacker and family for Linda's parents,. Berwick and Catherine Bell of Xincardine. We extend our best wishes. ,•• Marybell [MacDonald] Agnew Mary Isabelle (Marybelle) MacDonald' died at Pineerest Manor Nursing Home on January 16, 1984 at the age of 76. She was born in Ashfield Township on October 18, 1908, a daughter of the late J. K. MacDonald and the former Margaret Ellen MacKenzie, of Lochalsh. She married David Harold Agnew, of Lucknow, who predeceas- ed her, She is survived by two sons, J. K. Agnew• of Plymouth, Michigan and -David Angew of Chicago, Illinois and a &tighter, Mary Edith Berkhaug of Chicago, Illinois. Two sisters, Sarah, Mrs. George Blue of Detroit, Michigan and. Jessie, Mrs. Noble Johnston of Lucknow and six grandchildren also survive. The funeral was conducted from the MacKeniid. and McCreatItFuneral Hone in Lueknow. Olt January 20, 1984 by Rev.
