Kingsbridge Kapers By Lisa Card, MaureenO.tapleton and Colleen Van Osch • Since the beginning of the new year, St. Joseph's School at Kingsbridge has been involved in many happenings. On January 5, the Grade 7 and 8 class invited Brookside Public School • to Kingsbridge ' for a volley ball game. The Kingsbridge girls' team won two out of three games while the bbys were defeated in two games straight. The Huron County library donated two new sets of encyclopedias to the school library. Kingsbridge has also opened a branch of the Huron County Public Library System, which is now open every Monday from 3-8p.m. The Kindergarten and Grade 1 class celebrated the January birthdays. They will also be going to a toboggan party at the farm of Ross Eedy, with the Grade 2 and 3 class. In houseleagues, the juniors are praying skittle ball while the ' seniors are beginning basketball. • On January 24' the Grade 7 and 8 class travelled to Brookside to compete in a mini volleyball tournament. Schools which 'took part were East Wawanosh, Lucknow Public, Brookside ' and Kingsbridge. The Kingsbridge boys' team was defeated by the East Wawanosh and Brookside teams which left, them in third position with East Wawanosh in first.
