C. Roy Cantelon died in hospital
here on Saturday' night, shortly
after being admitted, He was 70'
years of age.
Mr, Cantelon was born in Turn-
berry Township. He worked in
several places, including Toronto.'
He was married 'to Clara .E.•Beck-
ett in Toronto 45 years ago. He re-
turned to Wingham with his. Wife
and family in 1918 and was engag-
ed in the fuel business until .he re-
tired 1fr5 years ago,, „ .
Surviving •besides his vsiVe., are,
three sons, Merrill and,,Clare, both
of Wingham and Harol of.T0eed;
two daughters, Mrs. James (ViVian)
Campbell, Wingham and Miss:Ruth
Cantelon of Highland Creel. He
is also surVived by his motheis,,Mrs.
Sarah Jane Cantelon and a bttither,
Leon, of Wingham, and five'grand-
children.

rie & Sons funeral home, Until
Tuesday, when service was held at

Woman's Missionary Society, The
meeting opened with a Christmas
carol.
Mrs. J. E. Clarke presided for the
candle-lighting service, assisted by
Mrs, D. Adams, Mrs. C. Pylse and
Mrs. G. Brown, during which sev-
eral carols were sung. Mrs. H,
Ferguson and Mrs. H. Hamilton
favored with a duet, "0 "Thou Joy-
ful Day", accompanied by Mrs. L.

the Church in Angola, telling of
the appeal the Christian teaching
