fee-colored lace sheath with pan-
els of beli-shaped organza railing
from the waistline giving a heuf-
fallt effect, was the only attend-
ant of the bride. Her feathered
headpiece blended with her yellow,
bronze and orange cascade of
mums.

ushered by the bride's brothers-in-
law, Donald Ingram and William
-frgilePPard and the cars were nark-
ed by aTee PenYke, all of Aylmer.
The soloist, Mrs. George Guest,
Of Wioghaip, sang "The Wedding
Prayer", "The Lord's Prgyer" and
"Through the Years", as solos, She
was accompanied by Mrs. Charles
Fotheringham, cousin of the bride,
from rrillsonburg.
For the occasion Mrs, Husser,
mother of the bride, wore a cherry
red lace effect sheath, white gloves,
and a corsage of White carnations,
red mottled. Mrs, Dreyer, the
groom's mother, was frocked in a
beige sheath which featured,- a
matching nylon organza cummer-
bnnd and boW. Her accessories
were broWn and her corsage Talis-
man roses.
The reception was held at the
"habitant", situated near Port
13nrwell, a Ileautifail lodge set in a
grove of trees. The interior was
decorated appropriately in an aut• -
umn setting of yellow, white and
bronze mums, and candles provid-
ed the light. Large stand candel-
abra centered the huge fireplace
which was banked with mums. In
front of this setting were the
kneeling benches for the ceremony,

ed the toast to the bride.
For travelling the bride was cob-

Honeymoon Trip
To New York ,
On Saturday, October 3rd at 1,30
p.m. a quiet hut pretty wedding
took Place at St. Andrew's Presby-
terian Church, Owen Sound, when
Rev. Elbert F. Dutcher officiated
at the marriage of Catherine Daisy
Lorraine Small, daughter of Mrs.
Margaret Smith of Wiarton, to
Thomas George Ross, son of Mrs.
Robert Ross of Whitechurch. Mr.
P. LaMarche played the organ dur-
ing the ceremony.
The bride wore a ballerina-length
gown of embroidered white lace 'net
over satin. Her shoulder-length
veil of white illusion net, edged
with lace, was held in place by a
tiara of sequina and pearls. She
wore a pearl necklace and earrings,
the gift of the groom, and carried
a Crescent bouquet of Sweetheart
roses and white baby mums, bound
with white lace.
Mrs. Doris Plant was brides-
maid, wearing a light blue nylon
ballerina-length 'gown. and carried
pink roses.
Donald Ross was groomsman for
his brother.
The reception was held at the
Edgewater Inn, where the :bride's
Mother received the guests wear-
ing a, rose coloured dress with win-
ter white, accessories: Her corsage
was white carnations. The groom's
mother assisted, wearing a navy
dress with navy accessories and
corsage of pink carnations.
For a trip through New York
State and Southern Ontario the
bride wore a brown woof dress and
orange ice accessories With orchid
corsage.
The bride and groom also spent
e. couple of days twith his mother at
Whitechurch.
Mr. and Mrs. Ross will reside at
350 23rd Street West, Owen Sound.

County Temperance Federation

place in Huron regarding the Can-
ada, Temperance Act, and said that
