Street was in poor condition.
Permission was granted to Ro-
bert RoWsell to fence property ad-
joining the town park, •
Councillor Gorbutt reported that
bleachers in the park need repair
and that the town workmen would
make the necessary repairs on wet
days. Gordon McGregor was again
retained to water the flower pots
on Josephine Street during the
summer months.
The subject of repairs and paint-

tower on the hall and decided ,that
it is in good condition and will be
left in place. There had been pre-

should be 'removed. The council
also decided to call for tenders for
the painting of the exterior of the
building, including the tower. The
property committee was also auth-
