Invest Two Scouts
At Regular Meeting
Ron Vegan and Ralph Harrison
were invested at the regular meet-
ing of the First Wirighana Boy
Scout Troop on Wednesday even-
ing at the Wingham United Oburoh.
The meeting got under way with
the iireaking of the flag by Bob
McIntyre, under the leadership of
Scoutmaster -Alton Adarnsr---Ducs
Were collected,-followed by the hi-
vestitnre eerernelg.
'Several games were enjoyed by
the Scouts and a discussion was
held in preparation for the- nekt
npeeting. It was decided that if
weather permitted, they would meet
in the woods for an evening of
fun and games,
The meeting closed with the
lowering of the' flag and the
Scout silence

Was Health Nurse
WIIITECHURCH—Miss Kather-
ine McKenzie, daughter of the late
John and Katherine McKenzie from
Langside, passed away in the
Smiths Falls Hospital on Friday.
MiSs McKenzie was in her sixty-
ninth year, and trained for a nurse
in Victoria Hospital, London, She
later trained as a city health nurse,
and went to North Bay, where she
Spent fifteen years before going to
Srnitha Falls, She was health purse
at the latter place for over ten
years. She had poor health over the
past two Years,
