Attends Zone Rally
Three cars of members of the
Legion Ladies' Auxiliary of Wing-
ham attended the zone rally for
Zone CI in Seaforth on Wednes-
day of last week, which wee well
attended' by all the Auxiliaries in
the zone, including Goderich, Kin-
cardine, Brussels, Lucknow, Exeter,
Hensan, Howick, Ripley, Clinton,
Seaforth, Blyth and Wingham.,
Zone Commander McCann of the
Howick Auxiliary, heard the year-
ly reports from ,all 'secretaries,
showing a very successful year,
The provincial officer, Western
Regional Vice President ReeVes of
Windsor, brought a very inspiring
nessage to the meeting',
Beautiful corsages were present-
ed, to each president and secretary
at the rally, and the officers of the
meeting, A drew was made on tick-
ets sold to help . defray expenses,
The winners were, a deluxe clothes
hamper, Mrs., Ted . Gainey, Wing-
ham and a smoker and a fancy
cushion going to ,Seaforth mem-
bers. A social hour brought the
rally to a clese.

Wingham, and the groom is a son
of Mr. and Mrs: Felix 'Curran of
Harriston.

ina-length net over satin gown
with lily-point sleeves. . She wore
a brocaded lace crown with fing-
er-tip veil and her flowers were
red roses and white carnations.
The bride's sister, Mrs. Rose
Gotecliffe of St. Thomas was the
matron of honor and wore pink
nylon chiffon over satin with a
matching headdress. The brides-
maids, Miss Frances Curran of
Harriston, sister of the groom,
wore pink nylon chiffon over sa-
tin with matching headdress and
Miss Judy McGlynn, sister of the
bride, Wore blue nylon chiffon with
a, floral headdress and matching
flowers.
Debra Gotecliffe, niece of the
bride, was flower girl, She wore
a white nylon dress trimmed with
lace. Her headdress and flowers
matched.

and other points attended the wed-
ding and the reception at For-
mosa Community Centre,

ter-length coat, green hat and

Sacred Heart Church, Wingharn,
at .10 o'clock, with Rev. Father R.
Durand singing the nuptial mass.

carnations and snapdragons. miss
Nancy Slossee was organist .and
Miss Sarah Skinn was the soloist.
The bride was dressed in a two-
piece suit of blossom pink shantung

corsage,

the bride was maid of honor, And
her two-piece suit was powder blue
ahantnng with matching bat, Her
accessories were white and her cor-
sage was yellow roses.

Alta., was his brother's best man,
while another brother, Hugh Ken-
dedy of Teeswater, was usher. ,
The dinner and reception was
held at the Hartley House, Walker-
ton, Mrs. Flacks wore a royal blue
silk e.naemble with matching hat
and pink rose corsage. The bride-
groom's mother was attired in a
two-piece costume of grey silk,
white hat and a corsage of pink
roseS.

Toronto, Kitchener, Walkerton,
Teeswater, Cargill and Elliott Lake,
The happy couple left the church
in a two seated phaeton drawn by
a pahimino, They later left on a
wedding trip to Northern Ontario,
returning by the U.S.A. Their
future residence will be on the
groom's farm, Con. 4, Culross
