WINGHAM Gorrie, Mrs, George Dawson of Elmwood, died Monday, April 6 in the Hanover Memorial Hospital after an illness of two months. She was the widow of the late George Dawson, a former undertaker and , furniture dealer in Gorrie for many years. She was in her 88th year. Born April 15th, 1871, in Bentinck Township, she was a daughter of the late Mr, and Mrs, Henry Geis. She married Mr. Dawson in Jan- uary 1907. He died in 1942. She was a member of Elmwood Evangelical United Br e t h r e n Church. Surviving are seven nieces and five nephews, Funeral service was at the Richardson funeral home, Hanover, on Wednesday at 2.30 p.m, with the Rev.. C. 13. Heck- endorn of Chesley in charge.
