SKATERS PASS TESTS
' Two important events in the life
of the Wingham Figure Skating
Club occurred last week. On. Tuee-
day from •4.00 to 7.00 p.m. over 60,
skaters and their mothers enjoyed
a closing party at the arena. After
skating, a box leech , Was. enjoyed.
Hot , chocolate and ice 'cream were
provided. It Was regretted that
illness and holidays prevented
many from. attending.
At 9.00 a.m. Wednesday, April
1st, Preliminary and I3ronze ,dance
tests were held with skaters from
Wingharn -and Kincardine club,s.
The Wingham skaters were trained
mostly , by Harold Brooks with
assistance one hem. a ,week for
about eight weeks by Denials

between the Len Crawford Dodgers
and the Elora Rock, when the Io-
ta) boys stopped the losing 'trend
with a decisive 6-4 victory. The
game„ played in the .Vergus arena,
was the third of the current WOAA
Homehrew Championship series.
Wingham lost the first two encoune
ters.
The next two games are slated

(Wednesday) and Friday night of
