WROXETER—There was a good
attendance at the regular euchre
party sponsored by the Wroxeter
W.I. and held in the community
hall last Thursday evening with 13
tables in play.
Prize winners were: Ladies' first,
Mrs. Fred Kerr; second, Mrs. Wes
Newton. Men's first, Charles. Ca-
thers; second, Justin Will; novelty';
William Taylor and Mrs. John Sin-
nanion. The special bingo was won
by Charles Cathers.

Mr. Roy Simmons underwent
Surgery in the Kitchener-Waterloo
Hospital last week, Mrs. Simmons
remained down there for several
days' with relatives. At time of
writing Roy is improving slowly
but will be confined to hospital for
some time. 'His many friends wish•
shim a speedy return home.
The sympathy of the commun-
ity goes to Mrs. Crosby Sothern in
the passing of her mother, Mrs.
Slater at Strathroy, Mr. and Mrs.
Wm. Campbell and Mr. and Mrs.
Crosby Sothern attended the fun-
eral held there on Saturday.
