Vocational Courses
Open to Canadians
The Department of Education is
offering 'correspondence courses to
residents of all-provinces interested
in automotive mechanics, carpen-
try, machine shop practice or ra-
dio theory, and practice, The cours-
es are designed for persons inter-
ested in becoming tradesmen.
The Canadian Vocational 'Cor-
respondence Courses are prepared
by the department with the co-op-
eration of the Federal Government
and in agreement with the Depart-
ments of Education of the other
provinces. The fee is $100 a course.
The listed courses are automotive
mechanics I; automotive mechan-
ics. II; carpentry I and machine
shop practice I and IT and radio
theory and practice

Mrs, David Wetters has receiv-
ed word that her' sister, Mrs. Myra
Pearl Rogers, •died in Toronto on
February' 3. Mrs. Rogers was- for-
merly Myra Pearl Wynn, daugh-
ter of, thelate Mr. and 11/rs, Gee.
Wynn. who were residents of Wing-
ham.
Her husband, J. W, Oscar Rogers,
predeceased her. Two sons; Oscar
and Gordon, survive, as well as 'her
sister, (Melissa) Mrs. Waiters,; of
town.
The funeral was held Friday af-
ternoon from the Turner and Por-
ter chapel with interment in Park
Lawn cemetery.
