Arts, Master of Theology, and Doc-
tor of Divinity degrees. He is a
member of the Virginia Conference
having served a number of Church-,
es in Virginia. fie was superin-
tendent of the Richmond District

director of the Crusade .for Christ,
194'1-48, and was elected editor of
The Upper Room in 1948 where he
has served' until now. f-le Is editor
of The 'Upper Room devotional
literature and director of The
Upper Room radio-TV parish.
