Miss Fanny Paterson'
Was Postal Clerk
Miss Fanny Paterson, a former
resident of Wingham, passed sway
on Monday in the Leamington and
District Memorial Hospital, Leam-
ington, Ontario in her 82nd year.
Miss Paterson was born in Blue -
vale, on March 23, 1876. She was a
daughter of tl>,e late Francis Pat-
erson'and Fanny E, Ross. She was

Michie Homestead
in. Family 100 Years
E1ILGRAVE--The annual Michie
reunion was held on Saturday at
'the home of Robert and Ernest
Michie, who reside on the original
Michie homestead. It is 100 years
since the late William Michie took
up the land.
There were 53 members present
and enjoyed the sports and games
condhcted by Mr, and Mrs. Robert
Grasby. Members had also brought
pictures of days gone _ past and
quite, t few good laughs and mem-
ories were enjoyed from them.
The oldest member present, Mr.
Thomas Michie of Milton, gave a
tow remarks, expressing how pleas-
ed he was to ha there. James Mich -
lo gave an interesting history of
the farm, Other speeches were giv-
en by the president, Ross Ander-
son, l3elgrave and Ross • Nichol,
