A rink skipped by Lloyd "Casey"
Casemore won the A. M, Crawford
Trophy at the bonspiel in the local
curling rink last Wednesday: Cur-
ling with him were Lorne McDon-
Old, of Wallaceburg, and formerly
of Wingham, Tom McDonald and!
Harold Thomas.
The winning rink was. first, in
the eleven o'clock draw, second be-
ing ar ink skipped by A. D.. Mac -
William and including Alex -r irfac-
Donald, Hugh Carmichael!}) :and.
Stewart Gordon, of Seaforth. In
third Position was 'a rink' skipped
by Jack Bowman.
Thenine o'clock draw was won
by Jack Lloyd's rink, including Alc
Williams, Bill Bain and Dr. W,.
Crawford. In -second place wag a
rink skipped by 'Ross .Munro •, of.
Hanover,, and third place was tak-
en by Bill Ball's rink from Sea
forth.

up the series . with Wingham on
Monday night of this week in the
Georgian Baytown When they
'ov-
er -powered the Dodger's 13-2, fin-
ishing off the race at fear ;games
to 'one. '
Boswell, Davidson and Wilford
each pulled off the, bat' trick.
Kreuger fired Horne two,and. 'Wright
and ,5tabenow came' through with
singles, J. Crowson and Maurice
Stainton ' +trere ' the two Wingham
marksmen.
,Boswell, Wright and. Wilford ac^
counted' for three of the five goals
in the 'first period, assisted by,Da-
vidson, Boswell and A. KrUctz-.
wieser. Davidson ;fired in the re-
maining two markers. .
Wingham :teemed to Close in a
little in the second frame but still
the fast and powerful Wiarton club
chalked up three more, Kre(igcr
scored the first on a pass from
Boswell, followed by Wilford and
Boswell, ' assisted by 'Davidson on
both charges.
Wiarton again took the lead in
the third period with Davidson
scoring unassisted. Wilford,, as-
sisted by Kreuger• scored again at
the 4.06 mark. Then for the first
time of the night Wingham' came
to life and marked' up two fast
goals with John Crewson and
Maurice .Stainton, assisted by J,
Fryfogle and Murray , Stainton.
Kreuger and Stabenow scored two
more unassisted' and Boswell, on
a pass from Davidson, fired in the
last goal of the game.
Penalties were handed out ' to
Boswell and Bill Lockridge for
roughing and to Hatt for interfer-
ence.

guns for Wiarton, coming up with

penalties were given to Wiarton,
with Boswel, Wilford and Primmer

of the local church and the weekly
visitations to the homes,
