Other speakers were Winston Shaptan, president of the Huron County Federation of Agri- culture; Bob Ca,rbert of CKNX and Carl, Hemingway, county fieldnian, who spoke on county achievements. William Campbell, township de- legate to the Ontario Federation of Agriculture convention in Toronto, gave a report, Elmer Harding is the township Hog Producers' rep- resentative. Philip Harding Dies in Guelph GORRIg— Philip Harding, for- merly of Clifford, passed away on Monday of last week at the home of his daughter,‘Miss Pearl Harding, Guelph, in his 91st .year, He was the only son of the late Edward Harding and Agnes Wright and was born in Howick Townshin. He had lived in Minto Township, Durham, Toronto, Gorric and Ford- wich. His wife, the fotmer Fanny Weirs Clifford, to whom he was married in 1900, survives with two daugh- ters, Mrs. George (Esther) Leslie, Elmwaod Park, Ill,, and Miss Pearl Harding, Guelph; two sons, Henry Harding, Los Angeles and Sam Harding, Toronto, Two sons pre- deceased him. The funeral was held at the Altair funeral home in Gorrie at 11.30 a,m, Wednesday, with, ReV;. E. C. AttWell officiating. Interment was in the Gorric cemetery.
