Raphael,' leader of the
angel choir; was. summoned by. the
voice of God;' which Said, "Let us
open the book."They opened it
and. read, :'The peopleof earth
that' walk in darkness shall see . a
great light. Unto them.'. a Son :
shall be given ... and His name
shall be called 'Wonderful, 'Coun-
sellor, the mighty God, the ever-
lasting Father, the Prince of
Peace."
One :of the angels was to go to
the earth and make the great news
known. Raphael's choir sang as
never before, but no sound came
front the :earth except the sound
of a new-born child, -
Twenty centuries later Raphael
'listened to •little children on earth
singing words of his carols, His
' message in song was not 'lost. The
people on earth. had heard. The
voices of heaven and earth blend-
ed in a joyous carol, and Raphael,
the Herald Angel, led the mighty
chorus. -
