held on Sunday, January 5th, be-
ginning at 2.00 p,m. at the Mem-
orial
emorial arena, at Walkerton This.
school was a joint project of the
Lake Huron . Zone Recreation
Council and the Community Pro-
grammes Branch of the Ontario
Department of Education. Anyone
interested in the development of
minor hockey programmes -was in-
vited to attend,'

ener-Waterloo Dutchmen: of the
O. H. A; and former goal -keeping
star with the Montreal :Canadians
of the N.H:L,; 'conducted. ,the ses-
sion for coaches and .managers 'and,

Mrs; Horace ' Snell, wife of a
former rector of St. Paul's Angli-
can Church, died at Victoria Hos-
pital, London, on Monday of last
week.
Rev, and ;Mrs. Snell• served., in..
the Wingham parish from May,
1917 until January, 1926. They
have been.' living in Lambeth for
the past few years.
Surviving, besides her busband,
are four daughters and one son,
Mrs. W. Don (Dorothy) Smith,
London;;. Mrs, N, A. (Margaret)
Richman, St. Catharines; Mrs.
Geo. (Gwendolyn) Fletcher, Osh-
awa; Mrs'. Glenn (Lloy) McFadden,
Kitchener and Dr.: Arthur 'Snell,
Schenectady, N.Y.; and one sister,
Mrs, Annie Smith, Til'lsonburg.
Funeral service was held : at
Trinity Church, Lambeth, 'at two
o'clock on Thursday afternoon.
Interment was at' St. Charles,
Church Yard, Tilisonbuig.

Walter Smillie, Concession 1,
Turnberry Township died . after a.
sudden heart attack at his home
on Monday, December 31st, Mr.
Smillie was '76.
Het was born in Morris Township,
the son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Smillie.
He is survived by his wife, • the
former Alice Eckmier of Ethel.
They Were married in Atwood in
1923.. He is the last of a family of
two sisters and four brothers, •
He obtained his education at
S.S. No. 10, Morris Township and
later attended Ontario Agricul-
tural ' College at Guelph, Mr. 'Smil-
lie was a member of the Knox
Presbyterian . Church, Bluevale.
The funeral service was held,
from the R. A. Currie & Sons fun-
Kral' home on Thursday afternoon
at 1,30, with Rev, W, 0, Williams
officiating, assisted by Dr. A,
Nimmo of the Wingham Presbyter-
ian Church. The pallbearers ,were
Raymond Elliott, Allan Brecken-
ridge, Campbell Robertson, Fink'
Stamper, Harvey Timm. and Alex
Corrigan, The flowers were carried
by four nephews, Interment was•'
made in Wingham Cemetery.

Mrs, George Agar, Stratford, died
after an illness of a few days.
Mrs. Agar was born in Morris
Township, the former Gertrude'
Isabelle Robb; a daughter pf the
late Mr. and Mrs, Joseph Robb, In.
10199 she married George Agar and
have since resided in Stratford.
She Was 'a member of St. John`a
United 'Church,
She is survived by her husband,.
three daughters, Mrs. Leslie
(Arley) Lee, of London; Mrs,
Walter Merle) Cornish, of Lan-
don and Mrs. Andrew (Lois)
Campbell, 'of W iihdsor; two sons,
Harold and Cecil both of Strut -
ford; ten grandchildren, two sis-
