weekend.
Blyth hosted Mitchell II on Nov.

Brussels Sprouts
glide to victory
The Brussels Sprout Tyke team
glided to an easy victory over a vis
iting Monkton team on Saturday,
Nov. 28.
After a first period goal by the
opposition to lead the game, Joel
Hemingway struck back just a
minute later to tie. Then with 3:50
left on the clock Geoffrey Banks
nudged in another to give Brussels
the edge.
Hemingway started it off again in
the second with a goal halfway
through the period, then combined
with Banks to drive in another at
1:27.
Banks decided to go it alone in
the third to give Brussels a 5-1
lead, but the visitors closed the gap
a little, scoring their second goal at
3:45. Though the win seemed
secure Brussels wouldn't ease up.
With just a little over a minute
remaining, Brittany Kellington, off
a play by Jonathon McDougall, set
up the goal for Kyle Stephenson,
the last of the game.
The final score of the game was
6-2 for Brussels.
