Old Tyme Country Breakfast hosted by the Londesboro
Lions this past Sunday at the Londesboro Hall. The event

GRADE TWO
Grade two students are hard at
work. They are trying to get all
their words correct in spelling.
GRADE THREE
Miss Mathers' grade threes have
enjoyed helping their kindergarten
buddies make life-size models of
themselves. They had fun meeting
their grade 5/6 reading buddies and
are looking forward to working
with them this year. Last week »
they learned about Bridget Cucksey
as she was the "Special Me" person
of the week.
Celebrating birthdays this month
were Bridget Cucksey, Candace
Procter, and Adam McBumey.
GRADE FOUR/FIVE
The class would like to thank all
those who made their first Treat
Sale a success.
They have been working on a
newspaper report and an
imaginative story based on their
adventures at the Pioneer Thresher
Reunion. They had fun writing
"Who Am I?" surprises for their
parents for Open House. They
enjoyed working with their Grade 1
buddies on pictures to show their
parents.
SPECIAL NEWS
The school's Open House was on
Tuesday, Sept. 29. Students came
to school at night with their parents
and friends to show them what they
have learnt so far, and introduce
them to their teachers for this
school year.
Some of the grade 6/7 students
showed them some programs on
the Icons and the CD Rom. Some
left some money at the Book Fair,
but went home with some
interesting books to read, as well as
memories of that Big Red Dog,
Clifford.
SPORTS
Congratulations to the girls' and
boys' soccer teams for representing
the school so well and displaying
good sportsmanship at the recent
North-Huron Soccer Tournament
held at Grey Central School. The
weatherman cooperated for that day
although a few players took mud
baths before the day was over.
