Mr. Reynolds has been a scout since 1914 and is still active in the organization. It was also a special evening as this is the first time the Brussels Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Brownies and Guides celebrated the day together. This will take place on Wednesday, March 4 at 8 p.m There will be a total of 12 speakers from Brussels Public School and Grey Central Public School. All are invited to come and listen to the speeches. This week's euchre results are as follows: high man, Gordon Nichol; high lady, Deb Cann; low man, Albert Quipp; low lady, Dorothy Dilworth. Most lone hands for the men was Clarence Bishop and for the ladies', Erma Brighton. Most zeros for the men was Jim MacLean and ladies' zeros was Doreen Rutledge. The next euchre night is Wednesday, Mar. 4 at 7:45 p.m. Results for the -Feb. 18 mixed darts are as follows: Bill Nethery and Dave Adams, first; Gord Jacklin and Mary Ross, second; ladies' high shooter, Tara Pipe (120) and the men, Lawrence Machan (136). Darts are held every Tuesday night at 8:30 p.m. The National Dart Federation Conference will have their final shoot on Sunday, March 1 at the Brussels Legion Hall. Darts are to begin at 11 a.m. and continue throughout the day. Singles, doubles and teams will be played. Good luck to all the participants. The Brussels Legion Pipe Band is seeking persons interested in playing with the band. No experience necessary as members are willing to teach. Practice evenings are Thursday 8-10 p.m. hands, Lois Hart, lucky draw, Eluned McNair. Dianne and Brian Huether, Sandy and Sheri; Krista Hastings and friend John Nesbitt; Ann Bosman, Tracy, Tina and friend; Wayne and Hope Lowe; John Lowe; Freda Pipe; Mary Lowe; Ruth Lowe; Nicole Lowe; Marie McTaggart; and Ethel Brewer all travelled to London on Sunday, Feb. 23 to attend an open house ‘surprise’ birthday party for Mrs. Viola Bowler which was held in the Hamilton Road Presbyterian Church from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Prior to the birthday party they attended church services and fol­ lowing the party they were enter - at the Legion hall.
