At this meeting members got to
make different milkshakes and ice
cream pizza.
They made the milkshakes with
fresh fruits and different powders. I
had a banana milkshake. The ice
cream pizza was good, it tasted like
cake.
This was the last meeting we
were getting ready for achievement
night. They all have to make some
food for the special night. They
also can bring their parents if they
want.
Al a previous meeting members
got to try four different kinds of
cheeses. The kinds were cream
cheese, cheddar, Gouda and Swiss.
They were good tasting cheeses.
Some of the cheeses were either
very soft or hard.
After that, Clara and Julie Glaus-
er made “Fruit Smoothy”. It was
very good. Members had a couple
helpings of it. Then they worked on
their books for a while. Becky
McLaughlin closed the meeting.

Pay your family support. There’s no excuse not to.
*97% of parents ordered to pay family support are fathers.
Tell her again
why it’s “ok” that
daddy’s not paying
his family support.
A lot of fathers* in Ontario who
are supposed to be paying family
support, aren’t. And it’s time we
got mad about it. Because they’re
hurting their kids — our kids — and
they’re hurting you and me.
It’s not “ok” that over 80,000 kids
are going without more than
$400 million in support payments.
, It’s not “ok” that three-quarters
of all family support isn’t being paid
the way it should be.
It’s not “ok” that over $ 140 million
of our tax dollars have gone to
families who were forced to turn to
social assistance because their
support payments were not being
made.
The Ontario Government’s new
Family Support Plan will introduce
automatic wage deduction of sup
the information and to discuss
questions or concerns with staff
and the consultants on an individu
port payments, and specify to
whom and when they apply.
Because children shouldn’t
have to be told that daddy’s not
paying family support.
Please send me more information about auto-
' matic wage deduction in the new Family Support '
