Milk Makers learn about ice cream The Belgrave 4H Milk Makers held their fifth meeting on October 22 at the Belgrave Women's Insti tute Hall. The members opened their meet ing with the 4H pledge and answered the roll call which was a question about ice cream. They all had different questions. They went into the kitchen and put whipping cream, sugar, table cream and vanilla into an ice cream maker and put ice around the outside of the container inside the ice cream maker and turned it on. Then they went back out to sit down. Ruth Gordon told members that ice cream has a lot of air in it and how much was in it, (it's listed on the package of ice cream). Mem bers then went back to he kitchen and started making ice cream pizza, but they didn't finish making it. Joyce Thompson brought one that she had made at home. Members ate it, and it was delicious. After that they checked how the ice cream was going, but it didn't even start to set. Joyce took it home, she is going to bring it back next week.
