Bulls open training camp County fastball standings Close to 70 players looking to earn spots on the 1991-92 Brussels Bulls Junior "C" hockey club roster took to the ice this weekend. The team opened its camp Saturday night in Listowel and continued with a two hour workout Sunday. One surprise was the appearance of Sam Kulafofski of Stratford. The veteran right winger had planned to attend University in Sudbury but says a problem with some courses may keep him home for the winter. Kulafofski joined the Bulls last year at the signing deadline in January and provided some extra offence for the team. On the other hand, Craig King of Gorrie doubts he will be able to suit up for this third season in a Bulls uniform. The defenceman will be attending University of Western Ontario taking engineering and feels his heavy workload will not leave him with enough time to play hockey. Training camp continues Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and Coach Scott Pettigrew hopes to have the roster trimmed to 40 by the end of the weekend. Manager Steve Coulter says at least six players from Brussels minor hockey are still out at camp and he is also happy with the number of young talented players from the area trying out. Coulter notes a few other players invited to training camp are still out with Junior "B" teams and may be out for the next session Saturday. The Bulls first exhibition game will be Friday, September 20 against Orangeville. 1991 HURON COUNTY FASTBALL LEAGUE STANDINGS 5.
