Fhone 887-9487 Belgrave hosts Campbell reunion The families of Mrs. Olive Campbell held their annual Camp­ bell Reunion at the Belgrave Ball Park Sunday, July 28. The afternoon included a party for Lisa Campbell, who will be married in September, and a sur­ prise party for Lome and Lillian People visit area Mrs. Winnifred Johnston of Wingham and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Stonehouse, Belgrave visited on Wednesday and Thursday of this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Maitland Edgar of Petrolia. Michael Walsh of Sherwood Park, Alberta is spending his holi­ days with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Walsh. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Richard­ son, Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Pridham WMS hears story of woman's struggles The Belgrave W.M.S. held their meeting at the home of Mrs. Alice Nicholson, Monday, July 29 open­ ing the meeting with a poem. Mrs. Freda Scott and Mrs. Ivy Cloakey read scripture. Mrs. Nicholson led in prayer. The secre­ tary's report was given by Mrs. Margaret Siertsema and Mrs. Cloakey gave the treasurer's report. Roll call was answered by a verse on “Harvest”. Mrs. Nicholson read a story on one woman's struggle to live in Japan as a Korean. “Keep Cheering Someone On”, was read by Mrs. Siertsema - the poem, “Pass It On”, was read as well. All are students of Gail Lear, A. Music R. M. T. of Londes­ borough. PIANO Associate teacher, (1st part), Andrea Grant of Wingham with honours; Grade 9, Glenna Buffinga, Clinton with honours; Grade 8, Stacey Buffinga, Clinton and Maria Gibbons, Wingham, each received honours on their first part; Chris­ tine Potter, Londesborough com­ pleted the second part with honours. Grade 6, Shawn Fair, Bluevale with first class honours; Rowan Kerr, Belgrave, honours. Grade 5, Shauna Hemingway, Holmesville and Julie Lisle, Wing­ ham passed. Grade 4, Mary Lisle, Wingham and Karla Stacey, Londesborough, Krista Black, Clinton, and Karen Trick, Londesborough, all with honours; Andrea Ramaker, Clinton, received a pass.
