Campbell held their annual Camp
bell Reunion at the Belgrave Ball
Park Sunday, July 28.
The afternoon included a party
for Lisa Campbell, who will be
married in September, and a sur
prise party for Lome and Lillian

Wingham and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis
Stonehouse, Belgrave visited on
Wednesday and Thursday of this
week at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Maitland Edgar of Petrolia.

days with his parents Mr. and Mrs.
Cliff Walsh.

WMS hears story
of woman's struggles
The Belgrave W.M.S. held their
meeting at the home of Mrs. Alice
Nicholson, Monday, July 29 open
ing the meeting with a poem.
Mrs. Freda Scott and Mrs. Ivy
Cloakey read scripture. Mrs.
Nicholson led in prayer. The secre
tary's report was given by Mrs.
Margaret Siertsema and Mrs.
Cloakey gave the treasurer's report.
Roll call was answered by a verse
on “Harvest”.
Mrs. Nicholson read a story on
one woman's struggle to live in
Japan as a Korean. “Keep Cheering
Someone On”, was read by Mrs.
Siertsema - the poem, “Pass It On”,
was read as well.
