On Friday, May 24 al approxi­ mately 1:45 a.m. a Clifford area man, who was a pedestrian on Wellington County road 2, approxi­ mately 2 kilometres east of Clifford was struck and killed by an east­ bound vehicle. The car then left the scene. The vehicle is believed to be sim­ ilar to a white Triumph type sports car with a black convertible lop. Police are seeking information from the occupants of this vehicle or from any other persons who may have information about this acci­ dent.
