Aux. meets A meeting of the Auxiliary to the Wingham and District Hospital was held June 24 with President Mary Lou Cameron presiding. Liz Rogers, representing Survival Through Friendship House of Huron County, was the guest speaker. Mrs. Rogers gave a very informative talk on the services offered to physically, sexually and emotionally abused woman and children. One of her jobs is to edu­ cate the public that emotional sup­ port is available as abuse happens to one in eight women in Canada. A question and answer period fol­ lowed. Mrs. Rogers was thanked by Marie Phillips and presented with a gift. The Fall Tea will be held at the home of President Mary Lou Cameron, Monday, September 16.
