Phone 887-9487 Good turnout at Procter reunion Pletch family holds reunion A reunion of family members of the late Herb and Annie Pletch, was held at the Women's Institute Hall in Belgrave on Sunday, June 30, with 76 in attendance. Don Pletch of Ilderton welcomed everyone there. After thanking those who helped him organize the reunion, he then asked the Bless­ ing. A delicious pot luck dinner was enjoyed by everyone. Following the meal, a short busi­ ness meeting was held, and it was unanimously decided to hold another reunion next year, with Don Pletch as President and a com­ mittee to help him, consisting of Kevin Pletch, Bonnie Pletch, Bon­ nie Hogan, Barry Pletch, Barbara Fullarton, and Wayne Pletch. Irene and Gib Sauve were then honoured on the occasion of their 40th wedding anniversary. Several other prizes were given out for var­ ious occasions. Irene Sauve con­ ducted an interesting quiz on the history of the Plelch family. Kevin and Barb Pletch then led the group in races, fun and games with prizes given. Family group pictures were then taken outdoors. The majority of the clan then moved to the ball park where they enjoyed a game of ball with everyone participating. The rest of the afternoon was spent in visiting and getting to know all the cousins. Supper was held at 5:30. A good time was had by all. Family members attended from Willowdale, Rockwood, Kitchener, Kingston, Paisley, Teeswater, Wingham, Brussels, Belgrave, Ilderton, Cambridge, Seaforth, Lis- towel, Milverton and Goderich. 115 attend reunion The Robinson reunion was held in East Wawanosh Public School on July 7, with 115 people present. A delicious pot luck meal was enjoyed by all at 1 p.m. followed by a bridal shower for Sandra Robinson whose marriage will take place on August 10. The children young and old were anxious to take part in the game organized by Doris Robinson and Joyce Thompson. Special prizes were given to Joe Thompson of Goderich, the oldest person; male with most rings, Elliott Dunlop of Windsor; female with most rings, Bonnie Dunlop of Windsor, Joyce Copeland, Vicki McKee of Wing­ ham; anniversary closest to July 7, Doreen and Jack Mali; birthday closest to July 7, Ross Thompson and Bill Robinson; longest tie, Lawrence Taylor. Everyone present appreciated the extra efforts of Mary, Doris and Janice Robinson for making the day such a success. Hall, Belgrave. There were 78 in attendance coming from the Belgrave and surrounding area as well as Simcoe, Grand Bend, Elk Lake, London, Brampton, Kitchen­ er, Tavistock, Ingersoll, Missis­ sauga and Markham. People extend sympathy Belgrave and community neigh­ bours and friends wish to extend sincere sympathy to Mrs. Clarence Hanna, her family and all other rel­ atives in the sudden loss of a dear husband and father Clarence W. Hanna who passed away in the Wingham and District Hospital, Saturday, June 29 following a tra­ gic accident. Following a brief business meet­ ing everyone participated in a vari­ ety of games and competitions. Highlights were the paper bag race, water balloon toss, apple bobbing and a tug of war. Prizes were given to all who par­ ticipated. Special honour went to the youngest in attendance which was Ben Procter, son of Ken and Lila Procter and the oldest in atten­ dance which was Mrs. Alice Proc­ ter of Pinecrest Nursing Home, Lucknow.
