REGULAR OR DIETSeniors complex ago Construction will begin later this ■ ear on the new Maplehill senior itizens co-op building in Clinton. The board of directors for the ion-profit, 18-unit complex gave heir approval last week to proceed with the project as 12 of the units are sold. The two-storey building, to be erected on the north end of Clinton, features two and three bedroom units that are purchased on a life lease basis by residents, who then have an opportunity to take .part in the management of the building. Jack Roorda, president of the five-person volunteer board, said the architect, Desh Malhotra of London, will now proceed to final drawings, with tenders expected to be let later this summer. Construc tion could start as early as Septem ber with occupancy predicted to take place next June. "We are very pleased to at long last see this project get off the ground," said Mr. Roorda. Plans for the building were unveiled 18 months ago, but because the project is non-profit, al least 60 per cent of the units had to be sold before it could proceed. People interested in one of the four remaining units may contact Jim Fitzgerald of Clinton, Maple hill's community co-ordinator. 887-9226 We reserve the right to limit quantities Prices In effect from July 2 - 6 Deliveries Monday to Friday onlyl Open 6 days a week Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday Nights Until 9 p.m. ’OM Mil NIT PEPSI &7 UP 2 UTRE BOTTLE 1.49 GREAT VALUES FOR YOUR GROCERY NEEDS VAN CAMP - DARK BROWN, VEGETARIAN & WITH PORK BEANS STOKLEY - DARK RED OR NEW ORLEANS STYLE KIDNEY BEANS 14 OZ 14 OZ CAMPBELL'S TOMATO SOUP 10 OZ. 2/. 99 CHEF-BOY-AR-DEE Pizza with cheese 422 G 1.99 POST - CEREAL HONEYCOMBS WAYNE CALDWELL Alison, Michael and Debo rah Caldwell are proud to announce that their father and husband, Dr. Wayne Caldwell, graduated from the University of Waterloo on May 22, 1991 with a PhD from the Faculty of Environmental Studies.
