Lewis has been trea surer and Helen has been his faithful helper for 28 years. At the age of 86 Lewis has finally decided to hand over the duties of treasurer to newly elected officer Lome Campbell. The Sunday service concentrated on the theme of love in action. The Rev. Peter Tucker talked about the necessity of love, which is a noun, becoming a verb in order to make love live. “Every action which puts self first instead of others”, he said “is a denial of that for which our Lord came to earth.” He added, “Christ was the perfect example of love in action.
