A reader reports that she saw two flocks of tundra swans resting in farmers’ fields - one flock was just outside Auburn on Huron County Road 25, the other in a field just west of Clinton. Mark Gropp was returned as BRSA President for a second term. After the business meeting about 300 people enjoyed a delicious smorgasbord supper, which was followed by a dance. Weekend visitors at the home of Mark and Bonnie Gropp were Fred and Brenda Reid, Josh and Spencer of Waterloo and Brad and Sherrie Moore of Mitchell. Brad, Bonnie’s nephew, is a constable with the Sebringville detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police. The winner of the B-W Trail­ blazers Pork Draw was Heather Brown of Monkton.
