After the 4H pledge the members voted on a name and title page for the club. The new name is “Flower Power’’. Then Amy Terpstra led the club in a game of Plant Pictionary. Everybody had a lot of fun, but, then it was time to get to work. The members got into the dirt and learned how to propagate plants such as African Violets, Swedish Ivy and Snake plants. After the 4H motto each member left with no less than seven plants and a sense of accomplishment.
