The Citizen, 1991-02-06, Page 2PAGE 2. THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY. FEBRUARY 6, 1991. Accident victim recovering Edythe Warwick of RR 5, Brus sels, who was a victim of the car accident that occurred on Friday, January 25 on Highway 4, just north of Blyth is still recovering in hospital. A spokesperson from Wingham and District Hospital had informed The Citizen last week that Miss Warwick had been released. Her niece, Joyce Harman contacted us later to say that her aunt had been transferred to University Hospital in London in serious condition. On Tuesday, January 2, she was taken from intensive care, but was placed back there last Friday, due to infection and pneumonia. Her condition is listed as stable, Ms. Harmon said. Only a week ago? Even a brief stop downtown on Thursday morning meant cleaning off the car, again, as heavy snowfall and strong winds reminded us of what Huron County winters can be like. While we didn’t quite get as much as was anticipated, there was enough new snow to make getting from place to place difficult if not impossible. Brussels People Relatives and friends from the area attending the funeral of Mrs. Mary Errington (nee Krauter) of Goderich and formerly of Dungan non and Walton on January 24, 1991 were: Mr. and Mrs. Ken McDonald and Mr. and Mrs. Don McDonald, Walton; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Krauter and Mr. Paul E Chambers, Listowel; Mr. Edwin Krauter, Ethel; Mrs. Marie Mc- Taggart; Mrs. Margeurite Sander son; Mr. and Mrs. Murray Huether and Mr. Brian Huether, all of Brussels. The service was held from the McCallum and Palla Funeral Home in Goderich with the luncheon following in Goderich United Church parlour. White Clerk-Treasurer Village of Brussels Correction In the article concerning the salaries of the Morris township councillors in the January 16 issue of The Citizen the amount was incorrectly reported as $1,550 for the Deputy Reeve and $1,500 for the councillors. These were actu ally the figures from last year. Salaries for 1991 increased by $200 to $1,750 and $1,700. We apologize for the error.
