Hunter, January 23, to prove that he really has changed his life for the better. Bradley J Peel, RR 1, Belgrave pleaded guilty in Ontario Court, Criminal Division, to mischief after driving his car into a garage door in Bluevale. The court was told that at 1:15 a.m. Nov. 23, 1990 witnesses saw a 1980 Olds Cutlass drive into the overhead door of P & K Autobody in Bluevale. The driver and passenger in the vehicle then got out of the vehicle and started pounding on the door with their fists. Most of the panels on the lower part of the door were damaged and the door was driven off its track, Judge Hunter was told. Acting Crown Attorney Liz Ma guire told the court that Mr. Peel had a number of previous convic tions in youth court and adult court. Mr. Peel explained to Judge Hunter that he hadn’t been work ing earlier but now was. In addi tion. he said, he had moved in with his brother and was no longer in an alcoholic environment. He said the chances were good he would be able to pay the $1700 in damages to the door. Judge Hunter was also told that the incident seemed to stem from a prolonged grievance between the passenger in the vehicle and the owner of the building. “I’m going to see how big a change had been wrought in your life,” Judge Hunter said. He adjourned the case for three months before passing sentence. “I suggest you come back with a receipt for the damage,” he said.
