GRADE 4
by Christine Lapp
Grades 4 and 6 went to the
museum on December 19, 1990.
We made sheep with wood and
coloured yarn. We saw lots of
antique toys and a little, old
Christmas Tree made of feathers.
We got to have a taste of hot or cold
cider and a shortbread cookie. We
got to ring the bell on a big train.
Grade 4 was in the Christmas
concert. We presented a story
about the real meaning of Christ
mas. It was called “Christmas
Symbols”.
The grade 4’s were inviteu to the
Christmas dance. They danced to
the beat. They had a lot of fun!
Grade 4 also received letters from
their pen pals in Seaforth.

EXPLORERS
CHRISTMAS MEETING
by Christine Dale
We started the Christmas meet
ing with the purpose and then we
sang a song. We did three activi
ties: Reindeer clothespins. Candy
cane reindeer, and stained glass
painting. For supper we had pizza,
pop, and Rice Krispies squares.
We also had gift exchange. Then
we went carolling in the village
until 8 p.m.
On January 10 we started with a
song then a story. The story taught
us to be prepared. We then went
right to work on the worksheet.
Next came the memory work. The
collection was $5.
