The group presented close to 40 pro grams in 1990, accepting invita tions from Lions clubs, a Kinsmen club, a Boy Scout Club and several church organizations including D.V.B.S., Sunday Schools, Child ren’s camps, and South Huron Youth for Christ. Most of the engagements were within an 80- mile radius of home, however in early December the puppeteers travelled in their big blue bus to Kingston to share the message of hope in Christ as portrayed by their various skits to two enthusiastic groups of inmates at the Quinte Detention Centre as well as take part in the Sunday School and worship hour at Camden Commun ity Church near Napanee. The balance of December was very busy with many engagements for their Christmas program, in cluding the Christmas program for the Church of God in Blyth on Dec. 16 which was very well attended. The Blyth Christian Puppeteer Ministry is sponsored by Blyth Church of God, but it had its origin in the minds of Leslie and Jackie Cook, who got it “on the road” with the help of our very talented young people of the community: Christina Black, Michael de Jong, BRUCE S.
