THE CHRISTMAS STORY
Jesus in the manger,
All cozy and warm
With Joseph in the corner
Eating little bits of corn.
With the little donkey
About to shut his eyes,
When all of a sudden
Three Wisemen came in all surprised.
They laid down their gifts
• With their mouths open in awe
But wouldn't you,
With the sight .they saw?
A cute little baby .all cozy and warm
With a smell of perfume
And no clothes. torn.
Well that is the story
We all enjoy so well
And to this day we celebrate Noel.
Robbie Johnson, Grade 5,

A CHRISTMAS POEM
When 'I ,wake up :on Christman morning,
The. Christmas tree is always flowing,
(And if I get up really early,,
I'll
see the Christmas star a glowing.)
It is starting to snow out...
Judy (my .sister) starts to pout.
Shecan't find her gifts •
That Santa hasbrought.
Janet (my other sister) •comes down with a
gift she bought,
Janet says, "Dere is, a gift for you."
I. opened it up, inside there was a book
Called "Things to Do".
I thanked her, andgotover to see
What other gifts there are.
I look in my stocking and there
I see a chocolate bar:
My mom'and dad come down, and we start
to eat,
Then there comes a beep, beep.
It is my grandma and grandpa.
Later, when it is time to. go to bed.
I, say to Janet, "Good Night"!

THE CHRISTMAS STORY
My hotel was full
But there still came more,
And it was tremendous
At the sound of their roar.
t
In came a couple
With . their donkey outside,
From the looks on their faces
'Twas a tiring ride.
The woman was pregnant
I didn't know her name,
They weren't a wealthy family
And the poor man was lame.
- There was an old shed
. Behind the hotel,
And in it they kept
The' little babe well.
A bright star was shining
Above the old shed,
The, Wisemen and the Shepherds
Were beside the: straw bed.
That is how the Christmas
Season did begin,
In the town of Bethlehem.
Jeff Murray, Grade 5
