HOW CHRISTMAS BEGAN
Once upon a time Mary was on her way to Bethlehem. And
then an angel appeared. The angel said, "Mary you will
have a Baby and- you will call it Jesus." Then it went away.
Mary went to tell Joseph. They went to Bethlehem. They
came to an inn. Joseph said, "Do you have a room for. me?"
"No! but you can sleep in my barn." "Okay.". •
Mary was sleeping, then she woke up. Then she had a Baby
Boy! She put the baby in the manger. „
An angel went to three Wise Men. The angel said, "You go
to Bethlehem." "What about my sheep?" "I will take care of
them." They went to Bethlehem. They gave Jesus myrrh,
gold and frankincense.
Clifford Fielder, Grade 3,
