They asked the inn-keeper,or a room, but the keeper saidwe don't have a room but you can stay in the barn. And there Jesus was born. So that's how Christmas began. Brad Hayes, Grade 2, Kinloss Central School. HOW CHRISTMAS BEGAN Joseph and Mary were walking along the roads of Bethlehem. Then they saw something. They wondered what it was. It was an Angel. The Angel said, "You wilt have a baby." Then the Angel went away. Mary said, `•I am getting tired." So they went to a place. They asked, "Can we stay here for a night?" He said, "No! but you could stay in the barn. So they went to the barn and stayed there for a night. Then He was born, They called him Jesus. And that was December 25th. That's how we got Christmas. It is Santa at 2.34 a.m. He slides down the chimney with his presents. He puts the presents under the tree. He goes tc the Stanleys and the Murrays and the Waynes. He goes all over the city. He arrivesToronto and Ottawa and,Quebec and Florida and all over the world. The last stop isthe south pole. Santa goes back to the north pole. He unhitches the reindeer and then Santa goes to his cabin. Michael. THE TOO FAT SANTA What if there was a too Fat Santa that was too fat for your chimney? And what . if he couldn't get down .your. chimney...on Christmas eve? And what if you didn't get your presents? Then we take them up stairs and hide them. Then our friends come to our house and they play with us. Then they give us our presents andwe eat supper. We have goodies to eat. We• eft and we eat. " One Christmas night Santa was getting ready to deliver the presents. But there was something that he didn't know. There was another Santa. So away the real Santa went. Ho! ho! ho! I'm off to the kids. :When he got to this house there was a mirror. He looked in it. Oh no! I didn't know there were two Santas. I'm going under the chair. And I'll never come out again andhe didn't.
