God was the happiest man in heaven
THE CHRISTMAS STAR
One day God was thinking. He was thinking about having a
son. His son, if he would get one, would be named Jesus.
Jesus woitl.d be the saviour of -all men, God was wondering
how he could get Jesus. He couldn't decide if he should send
an angel to tell some lady that she would have a baby and
would name it Jesus, or if he should send an angel to tell a
man to get married and have a child that was going to be
named Jesus.
He finally decided that he would send an angel to tell a man
named Joseph to get marriedto a lady named Mary. Mary
would have a baby and they would name him Jesus. God
wondered where Mary . should have the baby. He finally
decided too get her to have the baby in Bethlehem.
° In• a few days God started to carry out his plan. It was all
working perfectly. In a few hours he would finally have a son.
When the few hours finally passed, God was the happiest
man its, heaven.

"Christmas is fun, because Santa Claus comes"
SANTA
Santa comes, Santa goes
With his cherry nose,
He comes on Christmas Eve!
With his Christmas treats,
Everybody likes them because they're .so
sweet,
Stocking in the window,
Stocking on the chair
Just waiting for Old Santa.
Who will soon be there!
Jeff Ackert, Grade 5,
Kinloss Central School.
SANTA CLAUS
Christmas is fun,
Because Santa Claus comes.
He brings us guns so we can have fun.
He brings us games for us to play.
Santa is very jolly and fat
Maybe because he eats cookies and cake.
Some people like Santa because he brings
us toys,
But 1 like Santa because he's my mom and
dad.

CHRISTMAS DAY
In a place called Bethlehem long, long ago .
Little Jesus was born on Christmas Day,
On a day ofpeace, oh so long, long ago:
To this Christmas Day
,We think how Jesus was born.
And Jesus was born in a stable
In a manger, on that Christmas Day,
In Bethlehem, long, long ago.

THE CHRISTMAS STORY
Mary and Joseph went to Bethlehem. But back in those
days they did not have cars or trucks so they had to walk.
Mary rode a donkey and Joseph led it.
' They came to. Bethlehem. They were very tired so they
knocked' at the door of an inn, The man ceras. out and Mary
and Joseph told him that Mary was going to have a baby and:,
needed a place to stay. They were told that the inn was full
but they could go down where the barn was.
They went to the barn. Mary had the baby that very night
and she called it Jesus.
Meanwhile, out in the field, three shepherds were taking
care of their sheep and an angel came and told them that
Jesus was born. They went to Bethlehem and worshipped
Him.
And out in the desert there were three Wisemen and when
they saw a big .bright star they followed it. You can only see
stars in the night so they slept in the daytime and followed it
in 'the night until they came to Bethlehem and they gave
Jesus gold, frankincense, and myrrh, and that is why we give
gifts. today.
