THE TOO FAT SANTA
One day when Santa was getting up, he put on his clothes
and then they ripped. "Oh no! Not my clothes," said Santa.
So he got the biggest Santa suit. He went to the door, but he
got stuck.
"Elves! elves! help me." The elves got. the reindeer and
pulled the door out.
So Christmas came.'n

HOW CHRISTMAS BEGAN
An Angel spoke to Mary. She was going to have a baby boy
and they named him Jesus. When Jesus was born, they went
home. Mary and the baby rode°on a donkey. Joseph walked in
front of the donkey. When they got home, Joseph opened the
door for Mary. Mary put. Jesus to bed and Joseph sat down.
Mary came and sat with Joseph by the fireplace. Then :.they
went to bed.
In the morning, Joseph went out for some wood. Mary got
up to give him his breakfast. He came in and ate breakfast.
Then he went to work. Mary got Jesus up and let him play on
the floor when she was working. Then it was time for him to
go to bed. Then ;she :.put him to bed and went by the fireplace
where Joseph was sitting.

I LIKE CHRISTMAS .
On c istinas night I like to go down to see if my toys are
here.
Yes they did come on Christmas night and Santa must hem...,
brought the toys to the girls and boys. But the girls and boys
did not know their toys were there.
In the morning they did 'get up and they went to open up
their presents. After they opened their presents they went out
to the barn.

THE MYSTERY OF MISSING SANTA!
One day when soft flaky snow was falling, I walked out to
getsome fresh air. Then I realized it was the. day before
Christmas! I was so excited that I started throwing snow up at
our windows. Then mother came out and said, "Come inside,
Lady Jane! you'll catch a cold." She did not know that I put
snow on the windows.
The next day I had to go to the store to get a turkey. When I
came. back a Christmas tree was.there. I nearly dropped the
turkey that I was holding!
When might time came I fell fast asleep. The night passed
on and for all 1 knew Santa didn't seem to come, When I got
uNin the morning I raced downstairs. But when I got there
the floor was bare. No presents for the boys, 'I was so upset
that I nearly pushed -over the Christmas tree. But then I saw a
note. It said, `.'Help me!" - Santa. Then I saw some popcorn! I
said, '%It must lead to where Santa is!"
Oh boy! Then I found a crack, I cou1, just squeeze through.
I said, "Santa must have used magic!" I found some stairs
and I followed the popcorn. And then right in front of me all
tied up was Santa. I untied him and he gave me the toys and
disappeared. I went back to bed and later in the morning I
went downstairs' and opened my presents.
"' I saw some
popcorn.
It must lead
to Santa
I followed .the
popcorn and
then right in front
