Students' Council had a record hop for Grades 5 to 8.• Bags of chips were given out as prizes for spot dances. Monday, October 29 was a Professional Activity Day. Dr. Ed Pino of Denver; Colorado;. spent the day with . teachers at the Homesville Public School covering the topic "Discipline Strategies That Work". Mr. Cameron attended a ukulele workshop at Brucefield Public School. Andrew attended their nur- se's ten year reunion at Victoria Hospital School' of Nursing, London, on Satur- day. There was a tea in the afternoon at the Nurse's Residence and a banquet and dance in the evening at Greenhills in Lambeth, Don Alton joined the group for the evening. Frank and. Loreen Alton and Jamie went to London on Sunday afternoon for a meet- ing of the Haemophilia Soc- iety. Mrs. Zetta Henderson and her daughter, Marjorie and Mac Graham of London visited on Sunday afternoon with- Wilfred and Virginia Hackett. Alice den Boer, Josie and Paul of Lucknow are staying atIrene home of Bob and I ene Markham, Chris, Robin and Kelly. Hank den Boer is still in " the hospital receiving treatment for burns and we wish him a speedy recovery. Melvin and Margaret Hackett, Port' Elgin, visited on Sunday with his brother, Alex and Ella Hackett. Mrs. Ethel Hoy' of Goder- ich is visiting with her daughter, Joan Dierotf and grandson, George, .since she was ~discharged from Goder ich Hospital. We all hope she is.soon better.
