Costumes were varied and - many guesses required to reveal the hidden identities. A most enjoyable program of games and stories was prepared and conducted by Mrs. Bill Van Rooyen, and this was followed by the distribution of treats in keeping with the oc- casion. A number of ladies from the . community attended the Cooking School on "Tricks with Mixes" held in the Ripley United Church on Thursday evening. Rosalyn Sutherland and chil.dk-en,. Billy, Ryan and Stephanie . of Newmarket and Helen Smith and Edith Pederson of London were visitors this week of Mr. and Mrs. Norval Stanley and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Thompson. Mrs. Eldrid Reid 'of Tiye.rton was `a Saturday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Thompson. Frank, Emerson of Goderich spent the weekend with his grandmother, Marion Emerson. Kerry Boyle of Hamilton and Heather Boyle of Waterloo were weekend visitors at their parental"home. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Farrell visited on Sunday with Fran's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Derk Logten- berg of Dungannon. Kelly and Jorey Helm of 'Tiverton spent the weekend with Mr: and Mrs. Morley Scott.
