The bride, given in mar-
raige by her parents, chose a
floor length goWif featuring a
bodice of lace over silk fitted
• to the waist With a heart -
shape neckline and high •
standing •collar. The lace
• sleeves were accented by a
ruffle cuff. The skirt of the
gown was silk with chiffon
net overlay an'd.flowed to a
Chapel train trimmed With
lace. She wore a picture hat
covered in pleated lace with a
bowancl silk ribbons hanging
from the back.
• The bride was attended by .
her friend, Catherine. Hack-
ett, maid of honour. She ,
wore a polyester knit floor-
: length gown in coral with a
blouson bodice drawn at the
Waist and lace straps. She
carried an arm bduquet .of
peach, chocolate brown talis-
• man and ivory roses, chocO-
• late ' brown •poppies and
• baby's breath. She., wore
talisman roses and baby's -
breath in 'her hair. •
The maid of honour was
assisted by Janice Beyers-
bergen, Mount Forest, friend
of the bride, Gemma Leves-
que, Owen Sound, sister of
the graft, Virginia Caesar,
Dungannon, friend of the
• bride, and Barb Hackett,
' Lucknow, cousin of the bride.
They wore gowns similar to
the maid of honour and

Mount Forest, friend of the
groom, was groomsman and
-Joe DeBruyn, Milton, Arie
Dellruyn, Wingham, Jake
DeBruyn of Wingham, all
brothers of the groom and

brother of the bride, ushered
the guests.
The groom and -his attend-
ants wore chocolate brown
tuxedos.
Music was.provided by"the
Sacred Heart Choir during
the ceremony. A reception
followted in Lucknow District
Community Centre which
was decorated with candel-
abra and brown, orange,
yellow .and coral flowers.
The bride's mother 'receiv-
ed wearing a peach flbor
length gown of polyester knit
with a: blouson top of mesh
netting; and three-quarter
length slit sleeves. She. wore
a corsage of talisman roses
and brcinie ribbon.'
The groom 's mother as-
sisted wearing a mauve
crimp street length dress '
with long sleeves. She wore a
corsage of White orchids.
The bride changed to a
:dusty rose two-piece street
• length outfit, with a wrap
around jacket, for their hon-
eymoon in the Bahamas.
Since their return the
couple are residing en Hay:.
clock Street, Lucknow.
The, grqom is employed

The sixth meeting of the
Kingsbridge Thrifty Thread-
ers was held at the home of
• Barb Van DiePenbeek on
October 17, •
The president called the
roll and everyone showed
• their example of a stitch
learned in this club.
• Members discussed sever-
al topics,kincluding mounting
and framing. They alsoAis-
cussed how to Make— a
sampler into a pillow and the
care and cleaning of needle-
point. •
For the rest of the meet-
ing, the juniors learned how
to do the Binding Stitch. The
seniors learned how to make
their samplers into pillows.
They continued to work on
their samplers and discussed
their exhibit for Achievement
Dar. They filled in their
"estimated cost" sheet.
