All members were in attendance. with Reeve Foran presiding, Two of Auburn's trustees attended the council meeting regarding a charge for a. fire call, to the, village, which, council informed the trust- ees, would have to be paid. The clerk was directed to inform Durham Lightning Rod Ltd. that they had accepted its price submission for repairs to the eaves trough on the garage, and to proceed with the work as soon as possible. - Motion by councillors Hickey and Durnin that the application for loan for tile. drainage, submitted by L. Morrison, he accepted by the Township ` of West Wawa - nosh. The clerk was authorized to order 340 dog tags for 1980. Motion by councillors Cranston and Aitchison that authority iss hereby given by council to issue a building permit to G. Smyth for an addition to be used as a paint shop. Motion by councillors Hickey and Aitchison that the Township of West Wawa - ,nosh hereby accepts the pro- posal .of Klemmar Lumber, Hanover, for the purchase of logs cut off unopened side - road 15-16, concession 7. Motion by councillors Durnin and Cranston that the Preliminary Reference Plan of the north half of the west half of lot 25, concession 6, prepared by C.R. Kiar Ltd. of Goderich, is acceptable to the council of the Township of. West Wawanosh. The draft agreement, to be completed between Bill and Susanne Robinson and the Township of West Wawa - nosh granting first right to purchase the 18 acres being retained by West Wawanosh for gravel, was examined and discussed. Council expressed some dissatisfaction with the draft agreement, and the clerk was directed to contact the municipal solicitor in regard to a change or assur- ance that the agreement as drawn expressed the inten- tion of council. By-law #13, 1979 was given third ' reading and finally passed on a motion by councillors Aitchison and Cranston, and carried. This by-law authorizes the sale of 32 acres of the north half of the .west half of lot 25, concession 6,. Township of West Wawanosh for the sum of $42,000. given ' third reading and finally passed on a motion''by councillors Durnin and Hick- ey and carried. This by-law authorizes the saleofpart of the south half of lot 13, concession 13, Township of West Wawanosh for the surae of $43,000.00. Motion by . councillors Cranston and Hickey that the reeve and clerk are hereby authorized to apply • for the Interim Subsidy on road expenditures to the end of September 1979.
