The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Duncan Farrish of R. R. # 3 Lucknow • and the bride is the daughter of Professor and Mrs. Donald Thain of London. ,Garlands of Lily of the Valley intertwined candel- abra decorating the altar where Mr. William McRae, minister of North Park Com- munity Chapel, performed the ceremony. He was assist- ed by Rev. Wesley Oake of King Street Unites' Church, London. Given in marriage by her •father, the bride was radiant in an Italian original gown of ivory silk organza. The fitted • bodice was appliqued with heavy Italian lace and em- broidered with pefirls and had a period style Ineckline and soft double elbow length • caped sleeves. The Skirt fell softly at the bodice and was gathered at the bac. The embroidered lace arid pearl headpiece held the velfl Which • fell in three tiers ending in a long train.
