Bed Races which opened the Kin
Summerfest on Friday night. The
Agricultural Society entry left, took
first place over the Leo Club, middle,
who placed third and the Dungannon
SIo Pitch Team, who came In second.

Lucknow Kinsmen Ball Tour-
nament beld this past week

ed in conjunction with the,
Kin Summerfest. Ten teams
participated in the four day

Thursday. and ,wound up
Sunday afternoon.

defeated Canada Co., 5 - 4 on
Thursday night. On Friday
Gord's Sports blanked. the
Blyth Intermediates 5 - 0 in
the first game. In the, second
Graham. Electric lost to
. Winglia,rn 8 - 1. On Saturday
• Green and Parent were shut
• 'out by Ayr 10 - 0 and Frank
Vetere's •defeated Reitzel's
Rentals 4- 2 in the morning
games.
The afternoon games saw ••'
Canada Co. take Myth 2 - 1 ,•;:,
and Lucknow squeaked past
Gord's Sports 5 4. Graham
Electric trounced Green. and
Parent 8 - 5 • and Wingham
won over Ayr 5 - 1. The
evening games saw Canada
co. walloped by Reitzel's
Rentals 11 - 1 and .,Lucknow
defeated Frank. Vetere's 5 -
2.
This set the play for the
finals on Sunday. In the
consolation, Graham Electric
defeated Reitzel's Rentals,11
- to win the consolation
' trophy. Wingham trounced
Lucknow 17 - 4 to win the
tournament trophy in the last
game of the tournament
Sunday afternoon.
